Service Description

This program is for high school students, with acting experience, who wish to be part of a team of directors. Director groups will choose a script for a one act play, audition student actors, cast actors for their play, run practices, decide on costumes, set pieces, sound, and lights. This program will culminate in performances in front of live audiences. All participants will be cast in a role a play. There will be two live performances. Students will work on acting and improvisation skills, blocking, memorization skills and see how a play comes together from the beginning to the end. No acting experience is needed! This is a great program for students who have never acted before, as well as experienced actors. We have a wide variety of parts to accommodate all levels of acting experience and skill. If you are coming from a school outside of St. Lorenz and can't be there right at 3:15, please just let us know so that we can plan accordingly. We have partial and full scholarships available if needed, just select the scholarship option during registration and follow the directions.
