Where the kids really do run the show! Directors are high school students with some acting experience. Actors and crew members are students in grades 3-12, with no experience needed. At the end of the program there will be live performances of one act plays.

Improvisation (Improv) is a key skill in theatre and life in general. Being able to quickly evaluate and then respond accordingly in any situation is a great skill to master!
This class is always a favorite as the students participate in theatre games and other activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, speaking skills, creativity, and acting skills. All while having fun and making new friends. Both experienced and novice actors will benefit from this class.

​All participants, kindergarten through 2nd grade, will be cast in a role for a short play/musical.
There will be a live performance. Students will work on acting and improvisation skills, blocking, memorization skills and see how a play comes together from the beginning to the end. No acting experience is needed! This is a great program for students who have never acted before, as well as experienced actors. We have a wide variety of parts to accommodate all levels of acting experience and skill.
We have partial and full scholarships available if needed, just select the scholarship option during registration and follow the directions.

Majestic Movies

Actors- Lights, Camera, Action! Act in a short movie. Each participant will be given a role in a movie that will be recorded, edited and then played in front of an audience on November 8th at 6:00 and November 9th at 2:00. ​Develop key life and theatre skills during this program by building your confidence and improving skills in speaking one on one, in front of a group, and before a camera. All while having fun and making new friends. Both experienced and novice actors will benefit from and enjoy this class.
​
Crew- Work behind the scenes and help make a short movie. You will help with costumes, set creation, props and recording the movie. Experience what it takes to create a movie and work with directors, a tech team, actors and a producer.

There are 2 age groups to choose from and students in the 5th grade can choose to participate in either group. The 5th-12th grade group will have a larger time commitment because rehearsals will end at 5:00 instead of 4:30.

Actors- All participants will be cast in a role for either a play or a musical. Students can state their preference during registration to have a singing role, non-singing role or either.
There will be two live performances. Students will work on acting and improvisation skills, blocking, memorization skills and see how a play comes together from the beginning to the end. No acting experience is needed! This is a great program for students who have never acted before, as well as experienced actors. We have a wide variety of parts to accommodate all levels of acting experience and skill.
For the first time we are also offering a "Chorus/ensemble" for both age groups.
All participants will be cast in the chorus/ensemble for a musical. Students will have group singing parts, group choreography and maybe some group lines.
There will be two live performances. Students will work on acting and improvisation skills, blocking, choreography, singing, memorization skills and see how a play comes together from the beginning to the end. No acting, singing or dancing experience is needed. Both experienced and inexperienced singers and dancers will enjoy being a part of this program and will be able to shine accordingly.
If you are coming from a school outside of St. Lorenz and can't be there right at 3:00, please just let us know so that we can plan accordingly.

S.T.E.M Clubs
Completely Fun Math Club
St. Lorenz School- Learning Center
K-3rd Grade

The Completely Fun Math Club is a 30 minute after-school program, in which we play a variety of math games to learn and master math facts in a fun and engaging way while reducing stress for the students.
This program is for Kindergarten-3rd grade students who struggle, students who love math and everyone in-between. We adjust the games for each student to decrease frustration and stress, so they can build confidence and help them master facts at their current level first and then grow to new levels of understanding and mastery.
Parents will be given some simple games, on the participants only webpage, that they can play at home with common items like paper and pencil, a deck of cards, and/or dice. All of these games will also require minimal prep time, if any at all. This way the fun and learning can continue beyond the Math Club.

Builders Club

This builders' club is for Kindergarten- 3rd grade students.Each week we will focus on a different media: legos, gears, blocks, etc. The first half of class will be a team build challenge, such as who can build the strongest bridge, and the second half will be individual free build time to creatively experiment with the media being used.​

Christian Community Art Party

Come and enjoy an evening of worship by expressing yourself through a variety of art projects.
There will be several stations set up for you to explore different projects and art media. You can also bring your own projects and enjoy fellowship with other artists and creative people. No artistic abilities required!
This is for all ages, but children under 12 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.

Blaster Battles- Birch Run

Join us as we armor up with the armor of God and then have all out nerf battles throughout the facility. Prepare to play a variety of games including: capture the flag, president, S.W.A.T., team elimination, and many more. We provide safety glasses, darts, and nerf guns. You can also bring your own nerf dart guns, but please leave all of your darts at home.

Caleb's Combat- Birch Run

A new Complete Worship event called Caleb's Combat is here. We will be playing a variety of battle games outside of St. Martin's with special bows and padded arrows, as well as foam swords. Think medieval battles in the field of St. Martin's.
If you have a paintball mask, please bring it with you.
Communities United in Prayer
This prayer group is held every fourth Friday of the month from 12:00-12:45, in the Community Room at the Frankenmuth Credit Union (580 N. Main St., Frankenmuth).
All churches, denominations and community members are welcome to attend.
Each gathering lifts up our local community, state and nation because, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7: 14).
​
Feel free to bring your lunch, if needed. There is no fee involved and you can come and go according to your schedule restraints.
Notes for participants: please park behind the Farmer's Market. Do NOT park in the main east parking lot. Enter through the main doors and take the lobby elevator down to the community room (follow the signs).
​
There is no fee for this and registration is not required, but it does help us to plan accordingly.
