Service Description

This program is for students from 3rd - 12th grade who would like to be a part of our behind-the-scenes crew. The students will work with directors and assist them with props, set pieces, costumes, make-up, scenery changes, lights, and sound. They will also participate with different actor and director groups during practices to see the entire theatre production process from beginning to end. There will be live performances where our crew will work with staff and directors to help with all of the behind the scene needs for our plays. All participants will be cast in a role for a play. There will be two live performances. Students will work on acting and improvisation skills, blocking, memorization skills and see how a play comes together from the beginning to the end. No acting experience is needed! This is a great program for students who have never acted before, as well as experienced actors. We have a wide variety of parts to accommodate all levels of acting experience and skill. If you are coming from a school outside of St. Lorenz and can't be there right at 3:15, please just let us know so that we can plan accordingly. We have partial and full scholarships available if needed, just select the scholarship option during registration and follow the directions.
